Rebekah Izzard

Rebekah is a psychologist who works with adults experiencing:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Adjustment to parenthood

  • Grief and loss

  • The impacts of trauma

  • Perinatal issues

Rebekah (Bek) supports individuals to go beyond just coping and survival. Using an integration of evidence-based, trauma-informed, diversity-affirming therapies that have a humanist framework, Bek works with individuals to move deeper into the vulnerabilities, fears, and pain that sit under the surface of symptoms. This is where long-term, meaningful change occurs.

Bek’s special areas of interests include supporting clients in the perinatal phase of life, including pregnancy, fertility struggles, pregnancy loss/termination, birth trauma, postnatal mental health and adjustment, parenting, and grief and loss. Bek is trained in the Circle of Security model, a parenting program that is underpinned by attachment theory and the importance of early relationships. You can learn more about the program here: https://www.circleofsecurityinternational.com/circle-of-security-model/what-is-the-circle-of-security/

Bek also works with individuals who are neurodiverse (ADHD and autistic); diverse in gender and sexual identity, and those who live in remote/rural contexts.

Bek works solely via Telehealth and has availability on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am - 3pm.
