Referrals and Fees

Fees

Clients do not need a referral to attend Northern Clinical Psychology, however, you may be eligible for a Mental Health Treatment Plan, which provides Medicare rebates on up to 10 sessions in a calendar year. Book a long appointment with your GP to discuss getting an initial referral for six sessions through a Mental Health Treatment Plan.

Some private health insurance policies cover psychological treatment. You will need to check with your provider.

The fee with a clinical psychologist is $240 per 50-minute session, which attracts a rebate of $137.05 under Medicare.

The fee with a psychologist is $195 per 50-minute session, which attracts a rebate of $93.35 under Medicare.

Completion of forms, such as Centrelink or letters for employers is charged at $50 per 30 minutes. Court reports are unable to be completed.
